A London plumbing company is just about as famous for their magnificent collection of personalised van registration plates as they are for their 24-hour round he clock service. This company is now the largest independent plumbing business in London and has been in operation for more than 30 years. Pimlico Plumbers founder Charlie Mullins started to collect personalised registrations when he bought the private number plate that bears the registration mark DRA 1N. At the time he thought it would be the only personalised car registration plate that he would buy, but when he realised the interest that the plate created for his company, he then decided to buy more plumbing related personalised number plates.
This is not an uncommon story with many business owners now appreciating that displaying attention grabbing personalised registrations on their company cars and van is a great way to raise the profile of their business. Marketing and advertising costs can run into thousands of pounds, but a small amount of money invested in the right private number plate could really pay dividends.
