How to Economize on Shopping and Bills

With the increase cost of living it is imperative we find ways to manage our bills, and I have a budget in place to pay bills. There are various ways to save money. For the past twelve months I have a payment plan where each fortnight I pay my utilities. These are only modest amounts each time however I find in no time I am actually in credit and do not owe any money. I tend to engage in a lot of bulk buying as it is false economy to purchase small quantities of each item. Shopping at warehouses where I can obtain items at cost price saves a considerable amount of money. I find making a shopping list prevents me from engaging in impulse buying and ending up with items I do not need. It is easier to pay with cash as opposed to credit cards as I find I do not have the urge to overspend and can be rather restrictive. With the high oil price I try and walk to the shops as often as I can. This saves a considerable amount of money.
