On Taking a Motorhome Holiday

Holiday and Travel
Last summer my husband and I decided to hire a motorhome to travel around Tasmania. We caught the Spirit of Tasmania ship which departs from station pier in Melbourne. It travels to Davenport which is an overnight voyage. We hired out the motorhome from Melbourne and was able to transport it over on the ship at a small cost. Once we arrived we made the decision to drive along the coast. The beaches were absolutely fantastic. There were a number of caravan parks we stayed at on the beach front. It was great being able to hear the waves at night. In the evenings we went for long walks along the foreshore to watch the sunset. We were extremely fortunate that the weather was close to perfect most of the time. We gradually made our way to Hobart as we wanted to see Mount Wellington. It was incredibly pretty and had breath taking views. We actually did spend the night at Mount Wellington in our motorhome however I was a little apprehensive as we were the only ones staying there. During the night I heard a noise and went to to investigate. To my relief it was a possum! We intend to take this trip again as it was absolutely marvelous.
